I thought it was interesting and funny how Hamlet played dumb in most of Act II, and the only one who really seemed to see further meaning behind it was Polonius. Even though Polonius is too dumb to understand that Hamlet calls him a "fishmonger" (meaning pimp) (Line 173), he sees right through Hamlet's madness. Polonius says on Lines 206-207 "Though this be madness, yet there is method in't." Polonius knows that there is a deeper meaning and "method" to Hamlet's madness. Because of this, i predict that Polonius is going to somehow exploit Hamlet's fake madness to everyone. I think that Hamlet's own cocky arrogance about revenge for his uncle killing his father will be the cause of his downfall. And i believe that Polonius will have a great deal to do with the outcome of what happens.
