In Act 2 of Hamlet deceit plays a major role in the development of the plot. Hamlet is the epicenter of all of this deceit. He in one way or another the cause of all this deceit except for Polonius' spying on his son in France. Hamlet has forced his parents to distrust him and have old child friends spy on Hamlet. Hamlet is a mastermind at manipulating people to his needs as he has manipulated Ophelia into getting his parents and everyone to think he is crazy. He also shows his brilliant playing skills in his plan to trick Claudius. I feel that Hamlet is the real villain so far because of his manipulating and his scheming revenge doesn't justify his actions.
