I found Ophelia’s death to be very interesting. Even though she was devastated over her father’s death, I would not have planned on her actually killing herself. Since she is a very weak character, I would have thought that she would be too weak to even kill herself. I also thought back to Hamlets soliloquoy and how he can been contemplating life and death. I found it kind of weird that he had been the one thinking it and then out of all people in the play, Ophelia was the one to act upon it. Im also surprised that Hamlet hasn’t done anything rash like that to himself since not only did he kill Ophelia’s father, but he loved her, and ultimately was the reason that she killed herself.
