In the book The Awakening one of the minor characters Robert has fallen in love with the main character Edna. Edna is a wife and mother of three. So it makes Robert question his decision about telling her how he truly feels. He could get the love of his life or he can ruin her family and the way people view her. He is in conflict with himself. So decides to think about her kids and her family. He ends up saying "Goodbye, because I love you" showing that he wanted what was best for her even if it meant giving up his love for her. She ends getting so depressed that he left her and drowns in the ocean leaving her kids motherless anyways. The message of the story is that you may think what your doing is right but in the end you need to follow what your heart is really telling you.

"The Awakening" can certainly be read through this moral perspective. Although the "moral" isn't explicitly stated, you are right that you can definitely infer it. Be sure to double check your grammar. There are a few words missing in your post.
